BODY HEAL Therapy is a holistic approach to pain relief. Since the human body moves as a unit, rather than in individual pieces, we often compromise for repetitive patterns and postures with unrelenting tension in other areas that can cause pain. By addressing these patterns, we can go beyond providing temporary help to the area causing discomfort, and instead, treat the root cause with lasting results.

Posture

Your body is your home. So often, we tend to associate our quality of the physical self by how much pain we are or are not in. But what if we could be in our body in multiple ways? Here at BODY HEAL, we believe that good manual therapy has the capacity to rebuild a renewed relationship with the body we have and how we present ourselves. The way we look, feel, and relate with ourselves and others is tied directly to our posture. Maybe it is time for you to dive in and re-experience your body in a way that bring youth, energy, calm, and poise to your everyday life!

 

Pain

Pain seems self-explanatory; sometimes things hurt, and we want them to stop. While pain can never be perceived as a good thing, it still serves a particularly important role in our life. The job of any good practitioner is not just to make pain go away, but to put in the work to interpret why the pain is there, all of the elements involved in the pattern, and to help manage the pain long term. Here at BODY HEAL, each therapist is committed to helping solve the difficult problem of pain, even if getting those answers requires referring out.

For many of our clients, the bodies ability to perform at a high level is a top priority. Whether a professional athlete or a casual cross fitter, we continue to serve the movement community with effective techniques that manage performance related pain, help reach performance based goals, and keep our movers moving at levels higher than they thought possible.

 

Frequently asked questions

What should I wear to my session?


Wear comfortable, easy to move in clothing. Close-fitting clothing or sports bras are preferred for structural analysis, and treatments are performed clothed.




What's the cancellation policy?


We ask for 24 hours notice to adjust or cancel appointments at no charge. Cancellations within 24 hours are charged 50% of the session price. Missed sessions with no notice are charged 100% of the session price.




Do you take insurance?


Unfortunately we are not able to accept and file with your insurance. However, we can provide you all of the information that you need to file with your insurance company directly.




Do you offer consultations?


Yes we do! Just click on the Book Online button to schedule a consultation. We are happy to go through some assessments to see how KCB will be able to help you with your goals.




Do you accept HSA cards or FSA cards


Yes, we are able to accept an HSA or FSA card. But, please be advised that according to the Internal Revenue Service, in order for you to use your HSA or FSA card for massage services you must have a doctor's prescription. We do not need to see your prescription to authorize the card for payment. We do advise that you speak with your Human Resources department about your company's HSA or FSA program first to understand what your company's plan covers.




Are you able to diagnose my issue?


No. We cannot diagnose. Only a doctor can make a diagnosis. We can and do use orthopedic testing to determine if bodywork is recommended for your issue. If we find that the test we perform is a positive then we may recommend that you go to a medical practitioner for a diagnosis.




Do you need a credit card to hold the appointment?


Since every one of our therapists is an independent contractor we allow each therapist to decide whether they require credit card information to hold an appointment. If the therapist does require credit card information to hold the appointment then that therapist will contact you to get that information so that they can put it securely in Square. Your card will not be charged and no amount will be held for the appointment. If you cancel within 24 hours of the appointment or do not show up for the appointment then half of the price of the session will be charged to the card on file.
